Strategic Writing eWallet is the fast, secure and easy way to access you cash. It is a smart phone application that precedes and bypasses the pin & card system, by allowing the user to program their transaction prior to processing (the final stage) at the physical ATM. The eWallet concept was developed to combat ATM (automated teller machine) fraud instances such as card skimming and improve the overall customer experience. The application solution acted to replace the need for magnetic strip access cards and employ the use of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. As strategic writer, my role was to creatively and informatively convey and sell our concept, which was pitched to a judging panel as a new business idea. The concept was developed with the Commonwealth Bank as a test client and the team would like to note that this is an original idea, the similar application- “Google Wallet” was released a mere two weeks prior to pitching.
